3L Energy Solutions/Island Time Polo narrowly took the first win of the day defeating Piney Woods Polo/Propaganda 2.5 to 2 (the half goal being awarded based on handicap differences). During chukkers 3 and 4, Hicks & Johnson LLC/Roxstars came out fired up, as they scored two unanswered goals in the third chukker, and managed to hold on to their half  goal lead despite a late goal in the fourth chukker from Piney Woods Polo/Propaganda.

After the fourth chukker, the teams took a break at their tents and the spectators had their chance to partake in the iconic Half Time Divot Stomp! Champagne was enjoyed, divots were stomped, and people had the opportunity to see the Mossy Ineos Grenadier, Bill Fick Ford Truck, and Shoppa John Deere Tractor on display. Soon it was time to continue the match, as both teams that had won their first two chukker games, faced each other in the final, 3L Energy Solutions/Island Time Polo versus Hicks & Johnson LLC/Roxstars.

3L Energy Solutions/Island Time Polo started with a half goal on their side of the scoreboard as Michelle Agrons scored to give her team a 1.5 to 0 lead. However Hicks & Johnson LLC/Roxstars’ Robert Orthwein was able to respond with a goal of his own ending the chukker trailing 1 to 1.5. In the sixth and final chukker, the teams played evenly back and forth trading goals until the end.  As the final horns blew, 3L Energy Solutions/Island Time Polo took home the Douglas Elliman Classic win with the score of 3.5 to 3.
